Islam's White Slaves :-
Most people in the world, even among the educated people in the West and among the Muhammadans have never heard or know the word Janissary or Devshirme. Before I explain, I would like so called Believers and Unbelieving Kuffar to understand the root causes of any and all actions taken by Muhammadan Muslims.
ALL measures, no matter how unjust, evil, immoral or hideous, that were and are still taken by the occupying Muhammadan Muslims against their subjugated peoples on three continents, are rooted firmly in their Sharia law based entirely on Muhammad's Quran or his Sunna and their interpretations.
Since these are perceived by Muhammadans as divinely sanctioned by Allah, they are then unchallengeable and eternal.
All protestations by anyone to the contrary is null and void and is pure deception.
The mostly ignorant humanity regarding the facts and reality of Muhammadan Islam, are regularly misled by Muhammadans and their apologists, who invariably and for obvious reasons, quote the earlier conciliatory Meccan verses of the Quran, without ever pointing out that they were Abrogated / Unsikhoo by the later Hatemongering, Warmongering, Racist, Misogynist and Vile verses that were allegedly revealed to Muhammad during his Madina Period.
Al Baqara 2: 256 "Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear from error; whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things"

Al Tauba 9: 29 "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His apostle nor acknowledge the religion of truth (Islam) (even if they are) of the People of the Book (Christians & Jews) until they pay the Jizya (Poll Tax) with willing submission and feel themselves humiliated"
Al Imran 3: 85 "If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah) never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost"
*** There is obviously not even a shadow of ambiguity or doubt as to what these Madinan verses are directing the followers of Muhammad on how to treat and deal with the conquered Jews and Christians as well as others***
Ahl al Kitab meaning the People of the Book are the subjugated Christians and Jews of the Muhammadan Muslim Empire, who henceforth are called DHIMMIS meaning Protected People
Ladies and gentlemen, the word Dhimmi was made famous by the author Bat Ye'Or in her monumental research, in her book 'Dhimmis & Dhimmitude', regarding the treatment meted out - and is still being applied in this 21st century - for the last 1400 years against Christians and Jews as well later on, as the empire expanded even further, included Zoroasterian Persians, Buddhists and in very rare circumstances, even Hindus.
The regurgitated Muhammadan myth of Islamic tolerance is as OBSCENE as the Arab myth of the alleged Golden Age that the Christians and Jews supposedly lived under during their 700 years occupation of Andalusia/ Spain.
All the records that humanity has available based on Muhammadan Muslim reports as well as eye witness reports by writers under the Arab Empire, show how oppressive, retrograde, repulsive and evil was and is the shadow of Muhammadan Islam wherever it cast itself anywhere on the face of our Earth.
As true Muhammadan Muslims, the Ottoman Turks applied Sharia law to the full upon their conquered and subjugated peoples.
I would like to remind you ladies and gentlemen, that part and parcel of Sharia law was and is the Charter of Umar as described in Chapter 26 in my series "Idiot's Guide to Islam" on YouTube that I must recite to you here because of its extreme relevance to the current subject and especially in the case of Dhimmies.
The following are the humiliating and degrading conditions that the Christians had to accept from the conquering Arabs~

In the name of Allah, the Merciful and Compassionate. This is a letter to the servant of Allah Umar, Commander of the Faithful, from the Christians ( of such-and-such a city)~
When you came against us, we asked you for safe-conduct (aman) for ourselves, our descendants, our property, and the people of our community, and we undertook the following obligations towards you:
We shall not build, in our cities or in their neighborhood, new monasteries, Churches, convents, or monks' cells, nor shall we repair, by day or by night, such of them as fall in ruins or are situated in the quarters of the Muslims.
We shall keep our gates wide open for passersby and travelers.
We shall give board and lodging to all Muslims who pass our way for three days.
We shall not give shelter in our churches or in our dwellings to any spy, nor bide him from the Muslims.
We shall not teach the Quran to our children.
We shall not manifest our religion publicly nor convert anyone to it.
We shall not prevent any of our kin from entering Islam if they wish it.
We shall show respect toward the Muslims, and we shall rise from our seats when they wish to sit.
We shall not seek to resemble the Muslims by imitating any of their garments, the qalansuwa, the turban, footwear, or the parting of the hair.
We shall not speak as they do, nor shall we adopt their kunyas.
We shall not mount on saddles, nor shall we gird swords nor bear any kind of arms nor carry them on our- persons.
We shall not engrave Arabic inscriptions on our seals.
We shall not sell fermented drinks.
We shall clip the fronts of our heads.
We shall always dress in the same way wherever we may be, and we shall bind the zunar round our waists
We shall not display our crosses or our books in the roads or markets of the Muslims. We shall use only clappers in our churches very softly.
We shall not raise our voices when following our dead.
We shall not show lights on any of the roads of the Muslims or in their markets.
We shall not bury our dead near the Muslims.
We shall not take slaves who have been allotted to Muslims.
We shall not build houses overtopping the houses of the Muslims.
(When I brought the letter to Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, he added, "We shall not strike a Muslim.")
We accept these conditions for ourselves and for the people of our community, and in return we receive safe-conduct.

I would like to address those followers of Muhammad who are reading this chapter that these onerous, humiliating, degrading, immoral and unjust rules were being perpetrated against Christians and Jews in their own Occupied and Conquered countries by the aggressing Imperialist Muhammadan Arabs.
Dhimmis means protected. Really? By the conquering Arabs who were Jizzyah Taxing them to oblivion?
From whom were these Dhimmis being protected? How were these Dhimmis being protected when every single vestige of their dignity, wealth, liberty and culture were being destroyed by their occupying Muhammadan Arabs?
Dhimmitude actually meant ONLY that the Christians and Jews were not forthwith exterminated but were bled to death by onerous taxation and or forced to convert to Muhammadan Islam just to survive.
That is exactly how millions upon millions of the conquered and subjugated peoples ended up doing from Iraq to India; from Egypt to Spain and from Armenia to Vienna. That is why there are over 1400 million Muhammadans, not ONLY because of natural increase, but most important of all, through forced mass conversions over the centuries to escape the burdens that Muhammadan Muslims imposed upon the conquered peoples.

For well over fourteen centuries, across three continents - Asia, Africa and Europe - non-Muslims have experienced Jihad war ideology, and its ugly corollary institution, Dhimmitude. Today, the debate among Muslim scholars regarding the theological "correctness" of "lesser" versus "greater" Jihad are an insult to the memory of millions of non-Muslim victims - Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Buddhists - in countless wars of Jihad.
Thus far, with the typical Muhammadan Muslim mental state of DENYING any and all Facts and Reality, this brutal history has been completely denied, and even celebrated as "enlightened" conquest and rule.
Although the Muhammadan Muslims demand apologies from the West for their alleged imperialism, with astounding and unrivalled degree of hypocrisy and immorality, the Muhammadans offer none to any of their hundreds of millions of victims on three continents, but instead and in fact, gloat over and glorify their misdeeds.
In the History of al-Tabari (Ta'rikh l-rusul wa'l-muluk), the renowned Muhammadan scholar's monumental historiography of the Arab-Muslim conquests, we read the recommendation given by Caliph Umar b. al-Khattab to the commander of the troops he sent to al-Basrah, during the conquest of Iraq (636 C.E.)~
"Summon the people to Allah; those who respond to your call, accept it from them, (This is to say, accept their conversion as genuine and refrain from fighting them) but those who refuse must pay the poll tax/ Jizzya out of humiliation and lowliness. If they refuse this, it is the sword without leniency. Fear Allah with regard to what you have been entrusted."
Ibn Khaldun (d. 1406), ostensibly the pre-eminent Islamic scholar in history, summarized five centuries of prior Muslim jurisprudence with regard to the uniquely Islamic institution of Jihad, as follows:
"In the Muslim community, the holy war is a religious duty, because of the universalism of the (Muslim) mission and (the obligation to) convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force. ..
The other religious groups did not have a universal mission, and the holy war was not a religious duty for them, save only for purposes of defense. ..Islam is under obligation to gain power over other nations."
By the time al-Tabari died in 923, the Arab empire had already expanded from Portugal to India. After al-Tabari's death, the Arab and Muhammadan conquests continued in Asia, as well as on Christian Eastern European lands. The Christian kingdoms of Armenia, Byzantium, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Croatia, Albania and parts of Poland and Hungary were conquered.
The Muhammadan armies were finally stopped at the gates of Vienna in 1683 (September 12). These so called 'Holy wars' that were in fact purely wars of aggression, were pursued century after century lasting over a millennium. Jihad, which is "Qital fi Sabilil Allah" meaning " Fighting for the Sake of Allah", is embodied in their perceived sacred ideology linked to a series of verses in the Quran and Hadiths detailing their regulations. Both were conceived by Muhammadan jurists from the eighth to ninth centuries onward.
As I have demonstrated in chapter 7 " Jihad in Islam", the ideology of Jihad separates the world into two irreconcilable entities: Dar al-Islam (the territory of Islam) and Dar al-Harb (the territory of War), controlled by the Unbelieving Kuffar.
The duty of all Muhammadans is to impose Shari'a Islamic law on the whole world, either by persuasion or by war, and those efforts which imply sacrifices represent the "Fighting for the Sake of Allah."
We have at hand a massive glorifying Jihadi literature documented during a millennium of these successful wars of aggression. They contain innumerable descriptions written by Muhammadan historians wherein they recorded in detail the number of slain infidels, the enslavement of the populations, the booty in captives, cattle and movable goods;
the cities which were destroyed, razed or spared and taken by treaty and the countryside pillaged or set on fire.
Battles and victories are described from the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian, from Hungary to Sudan. This information is not only available in Muhammadan sources, but also by eye witness Christian ones, which complement the Muhammadan perspective thus giving the evidence of the victims of Jihadi wars.
These Christian sources are Coptic, Armenian, Jacobite, Greek, Slav, Spanish, Italian, etc. There are also Jewish sources with similar descriptions. The Jihad wars occupying Kuffar territories, which lasted for over a millennium across three continents, are richly documented. Thus, it is astonishing when this well-characterized historiography is largely ignored, or even denied, in scholarly writings both by Muhammadans as well as by many Western historians.
In "The Laws of Islamic Governance", al- Mawardi (d. 1058), a renowned Baghdadi jurist, examined the regulations pertaining to the lands and infidel (i.e., non-Muslim) populations subjugated by jihad. This is the origin of the system of Dhimmitude. The native infidel population had to recognize Islamic ownership on their land, submit to Islamic (i.e., shari'a) law, and accept payment of the poll tax (jizya). Effectively he was repeating verbatim the Charter of Umar.
Furthermore, Dhimmis, including those living under "enlightened" Turkish domination, suffered, at periods, from slavery (i.e., harem slavery for women, and the devshirme child levy for Balkan Christian males), abductions, and deportations.
In a nut shell, Muhammadan Islam represents a purely Hatemongering, Warmongering, Misogynist culture compounded with an incredible degree of racism that denies the history and suffering of any and all of their victims.
This is exactly why we NEVER read or get any apology from any of their scholars or leaders regarding their conquests and continuing imperialism.
With this necessary background, I shall now address the subjects of Janissaries and Devshirme.
Yeniçeri is a Turkish word in two parts (Yeni meaning New & Ceri meaning soldier) hence, New Troops, thus indicating exactly what they were in the beginning: An alternative to the old regular army. This Standing Army was created by Murat the First in the late 14th century, lasting until 1826, altogether about 450 years.
Devshirme is also Turkish, meaning "gathering". It was a diabolical system of Human Taxation introduced under Sultan Murad 2 in the 1420's. The Sultan would collect Christian boys from the Balkans and turn them into his personal slaves as elite soldiers and administrators. Hence the soldiers were called Janissaries and the method of either enslaving or recruiting them is called Devshirme.
The Sultan needed to form the Janissary corps, because of the vulnerability of a regular army, put together by free Turcoman tribal levies, from different geographical areas, whose loyalty was normally to their own clannish leaders. These independently minded chieftains, were often tempted to oppose the power of the Sultan by finding allies among the most important enemies of the Ottoman Empire. Thus, it became necessary to have paid troops loyal only to the Sultan.
The Janissaries became actually the new elite troops of the Empire. Like the Roman Praetorian Guard. Their loyalty was to the RULER of the Ottoman Empire. At least, this was the intention. The Janissaries were first and foremost Christian youth enslaved during invasions of European Christian countries, and impressed into this newly instituted system.
They were converted to Islam and given the best training in the arts of war, as well as a very good education to be used for administering parts of the Empire. They thus became the most privileged force in the army. Because of their unique position in the Empire, the Janissaries were subject to strict rules, limiting their freedom and demanding higher moral standards than usual in their society. Special laws were introduced to regulate their daily life thus cutting them off from the ordinary civil society.
Janissaries trained under strict discipline with hard labour and in practically monastic conditions in Cadet Schools. Despite strict rules, they enjoyed high living standards and a social status which intended to give logic and force to their loyalty.
They were forbidden from ever making contacts with their families.
They were prohibited from marrying & having a family.
They were not allowed to engage in trade.
They were not allowed to grow a beard, which was the mark of a free man, but can wear a moustache.
For all practical purposes, Janissaries belonged to the Sultan, carrying the title kap?kulu ("door slave") indicating their collective bond with the Sultan. They were taught to consider the corps as their home and family, and the Sultan as their father. Only those who proved strong enough, earned the rank of true Janissary at the age of twenty-four or twenty-five.
These standards, however, changed with time; recruitment became lax (Moslems were admitted, too) and because of the privileges Janissaries started to enjoy their life, their numbers increased from about 20,000 in 1574 to some 135,000 in 1826.
To supplement their salaries, the Janissaries began to pursue various trades and established strong links with civil society, thus undermining their loyalty to the ruler. In time they became kingmakers and the allies of conservative forces, opposing all reforms and refusing to allow the army to be modernized.
But over time, the Janissaries were so successful that they grew into one of the strongest power institutions in the empire. They could exercise this strength to influence the policy and to defend their own interests. From the 17th century and on, they staged many palace coups to exercise this power. But this would eventually be the main reason for their downfall - their strength made them dangerous to the sultan, and when the final battle over power came, the Janissaries lost, and all troops were killed or banished.
What differentiated the Ottoman military-governmental slave system from its Muhammadan predecessors, was the introduction of the child-levy, the Devshirme. Many Muhammadan states, imported slaves from outside their domains and employed them as soldiers, officials and administrators, whereas the Devshirme had its sources of supply within the Ottoman Empire from among the subjugated peoples.
The people of scripture who, like the Iberian Jews, willingly submitted to Ottoman rule were granted full Dhimmi status. One of the very obvious signs that they were Dhimmis was exemption from Devshirme.
On the other hand, once they were theoretically enslaved, the Sultan, as the leader and representative of the Islamic community, would have the right of ownership over these forcibly conquered 'captive' populations. According to the Sharia principles, the offspring of parents who were both slaves would inherit the parents' status. Even conversion to Islam was not sufficient to make either the parents or the offspring free.
The advantages of the Devshirme system of slave recruitment, over casual enslavement is obvious. Through this system, the Ottomans were able to choose appropriate slaves from among their pool of millions of available 'slaves'. After basic training, the Janissaries were consigned according to ability to the Palace, the Administrative Bureaucracy or the Army.
The Palace education aimed to produce "the warrior statesman and loyal Muslim who at the same time should be a man of letters and polished speech, profound courtesy and honest morals". But its fundamental aim, was to instill complete obedience and loyalty to the Sultan.
Most Devshirme are known to have come from the European parts of the empire, from Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Armenia and other Slavic areas. Devshirme, had very negative repercussions for Slavs, Greeks, and Armenians not only psychological but also physical, since many of the smartest, the best-looking, the most intelligent boys and sometimes girls could not enrich their own communities for centuries.
Again, I would like to address our Muhammadan readers concerning such a diabolical Human Taxation. Consider if this were happening to your family; when during the month of Ramadhan, your holiest day, your occupier would come and pick out the best children - boys and girls - and take them by force from their pleading and crying parents who know they will never see them again. Parents who also know, that they will be forcibly converted to the religion of the occupier. I wonder what your thoughts are, regarding such a reversal of fortunes.
Please remember, that all these acts are sanctified by Sharia law.
The Ottoman Empire used Janissaries in all its major campaigns, including the 1453 capture of Constantinople, the defeat of the Egyptian Mamluks and wars against Hungary and Austria. Janissary troops were always led to battle by the Sultan himself, and always had a share of the booty. Devotion to such discipline, and their military skills, made the Janissaries the scourge of Europe.
It is estimated that during the 450 years of Janissaries & Devshirme, over 700,000 Christian boys and girls were abducted, enslaved and forcibly converted to Muhammadan Islam. So much for the ABROGATED verse -

Like Frankenstein's monster, the very Janissary that was created to protect the Sultan, became self conscious, and a threat to him. In June 1826, the Janissary corps found out that Sultan Mahmud 2 was forming a new European-style army and revolted. The Sultan declared war on them, and it ended with cannons shooting. Thousands were killed in the Hippodrome, at the Janissary barracks in Constantinople and the provincial capitals, killing most of the troops. Many of the survivors were executed, others were banished. Thus ended the period of the Janissaries.
The Ottoman bequeathed to Europe a huge number of forcibly converted Christians to Islam who have been so fully indoctrinated - Albanians, Bosinians etc - that they are actually an inside threat to European civilization.
